Description

The purple tones on this bottle are just delightful, along with its bright acidic green writing, and the ribbon is a gorgeous flourish that pairs perfectly with its profile. It really is very well curated.

The singular main note is the pink pepper which dominates like a crazy mother-in-law. The marigold is what gives it a very earthy flower scent. Not floral: Flower. This is the flower, stem, roots, and dirt clods attached to those roots - don't say you don't get what you pay for. Mmm...I mean...IS that passion flower? Maybe! Maybe!!! Or is that spicy dirt? Pink pepper?! Yeah, sure." How many more of the Sephora "try me" coffrets will I be buying? (Well, perhaps if they start producing them for L'Artisan Parfumeur, which is now apparently a part of their line-up...) On their face, the coffrets a great deal: you pay less than the cost of a bottle of perfume for a box which contains ten or so samples, and you receive a voucher to exchange for the bottle of perfume which you have in effect paid for up front. In other words, the samples are free. Some of my friends received this fragrance from their boyfriends for Valentine's Day this year. I say that's a sweet and thoughtful move, but I'm glad my boyfriend didn't follow in the same suit. I received a bottle of Givenchy Ysatis instead. The middle notes aren't quite so pleasant - another slightly metallic and synthetic smell (but not nearly as bad as "Donna Karan Be Delicious Fresh Blossom"). I am glad I am not the only one who finds this dried down like Fancy Love. If you like Fancy Love, Taylor Swift or Elizabeth Arden Fifth Avenue Style or Burberry you may like this. There is a hint of the original princess in here but only slightly. When I first smelt this I thought it was very pretty and a nice combination of the original Princess mixed with some sweet fruit but then it just dried down to a creamy white floral. If only it stayed the way it was when first sprayed it would have been a nice summer alternative to Princess. I too broke mine trying to get it out of the box the square bottle and the huge lid fit so tight into the gift set that as I tried to pull it out the lid came off and broke the spray nozzle. I have to leave it at home now I cannot take it with me because it leaks everywhere. It doesn't last long on me so it is a pain in that respect. Overall it is a nice perfume but a little musky and non descriptor it could have been better but somehow it just misses the point I am not sure what Vera was trying to achieve with this?

So, it doesn't really smell like Heavenly. If I scrunch my nose and really use my imagination, I could see how it might be slightly similar. But this is not nearly as warm or sweet or powdery.

Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number). I quite like the smell out of the bottle and *as* it comes out the bottle, but as soon as it hits my skin, it changes to a flat, bland smell. The scent is a sparkling floral bouquet that attracts with its juicy notes. It is signed by perfumer Pascal Gaurin.

I wear this to the gym to reduce my stink-factor, and after a run on the treadmill, I smell my forearms (a relatively safe place to smell after knowing you're drenched in sweat) - and it's amazing. You get a deep, intoxicating floral musk. I *assume* the prettiness is from the lotus flower and tuberose; the intoxication is from the musk, and the deeper turn is from the sandalwood.Whatever I'm smelling isn't bad. Okay? It's NOT bad. I just don't get anything special or even remotely noticeable in a normal perfume-sense. The other disappointing thing about this scent is the projection. By that, I mean, the complete absence of it. I've applied this twice to each wrist, and I'm still shoving it under my nose. It's so faint; I'm half-convinced I'm making up notes: I'm usually relatively sensitive to freesia as it's quite heady and super-sweet...and there's minimal sweetness here. Passion flower is also very distinctive - Think "Hypnose" - where it's done *beautifully*, or even "Incredible Things". I get none in "Floral Rush".

I have to add, I literally only got this one because someone said it reminded them of VS Dream Angels Heavenly, which I used to have and loved. Feminine and classy, yet a little sexy and romantic. Honestly, it smells expensive to me. If I was going on a romantic trip to Italy, this is what I would wear. I see this as a potential every day scent. It's a casual scent that could be "dressed up" so to speak. It wears nicely into the nighttime. I feel it would be a beautiful scent for fall and winter especially. I find it lasts about 3 hours on my skin, which is on the low end of moderate, and it sits rather close to the skin without a trail. Most certainly an underrated perfume. The bottle design is super eye catching and it was the primary reason why I bothered testing it out in the first place.

Overall, scent is kinda disappointing (I want the really girly, fruity aspect), but I'll use up my bottle for that base note period. I can't say I own too many perfumes that have such a strong woodsy note, but I like it here. It gives this scent a maturity, it's definitely for a grown woman and not a teen. It's the green, grassy, citrus(more of a sharp green citrus, not a juicy fruit citrus) note of angelica that sets this perfume apart from all the other sweet perfumes out there. The woodsy and musky notes in the base wrap tightly from underneath, gives the entire perfume a warm, sexy feel. The warm base also makes it more of a winter scent rather than a summer tropical scent. I don't like wearing this during hot weathers since the sweetness can get overwhelming.
