The two actresses in this were pretty bad (Krista Allen was great on DAYS and she's not bad in most of her Lifetime movies) Rib was a total ham but you expect it of the villain. The storyline wasn't anything new but Lifetime needs to step it up . Woman totally smitten by a man who isn't all he seems. Doesn't believe her kid who has discovered his unsavory nature. You know this story but we excuse the predictability....sometimes. If we can't get rid of this story template then Lifetime needs to come up with more creative ways to get mature women who should know better to fall for conmen after two weeks. There's another movie where a mom with a college bound daughter turns over her finances to her brand spanking new husband and he wipes out everything. Does it happen in real life? Sure, but sitting through this scenario in these movies gets tedious. Namaste!! Fun read. I am going with 3.5 to 4. But, I liked the fluff and I needed something light and that would make me laugh. So...rounded up!! My first read by this author. I will be looking for more. Rob seems like an author I would enjoy time and time again.

'Some scenes were hard to sit through and the story was just so ridiculous that I can't believe I finished it. Vivica had the most natural acting as did the boyfriend's dad. Jessica for all of her caring about her mom was quite obnoxious.

It's an entertaining little tale of romance and second chances. Because it is set, partly, in the theatre, I was interested when I saw this title on NetGalley. I have been in and out of theatres for years and know many people still involved in one way or another in community theatre...which can be pretty fun! With lots of drama and crazy! I knew I could relate to the characters and setting of this story. And I did. The "players" are introduced. We have some very funny movie /TV references as chapter headings: Sophie Loren's Toe, Snakes on a Plane, What's My Line? And plenty of .... The characters were a mixture of cute, romantic, hilarious dears that you just wanted to curl up on the couch with. I found myself getting lost in each person’s drama and honestly wasn’t sure which man, if any, Natalie would end up with. Clearly Natalie’s Gran stole the show and is someone I won’t soon forget. In fact, I would love to see some sort of continuation with the characters, or even a spin off book featuring Gran (Gran’s Gone Wild!). I don’t want to spoil any of the surprises, but the ending left me with a feel good lump in my chest and put me at ease in a way I haven’t experienced in some time. Highly recommended to those who aren’t afraid to include a little fluff in their reading diet; you’ll be so glad you chose not to miss out on this one! Gran Anouska is a great character, her outlook on life and way of words reminded me of Coco Pinchard's ex-mother-in-law Ethel and my uncle's Austrian mum Freda! Eric Roberts shows up as a private investigator in this one! But not for very long unfortunately. Another right down the middle WRONG movie otherwise. Great example of Vivica saving the day and saying the line you want her to say, though. There's a whole thing about a boyfriend trying to get there in time and Vivica just steamrolls over him haha it's great. Jamie is in town producing a West End show and with rivalry suddenly clouding old feelings, this isn’t quite the reunion Natalie was expecting.Why not enjoy what we have while it’s here,” Wyatt said, quieter this time. “Here for a good time, not for a long time.”
